5 stars for excellent service. My wife and I came here after doing a photoshoot in D.C. It was a busy evening for the restaurant, but we were quickly seated and our order was placed in a timely manner. The ramen we got was their Tonkotsu ramen. It was served piping hot and the broth was really savory. I wouldn't say it was the best ramen I had, but it hit the spot after a long day. The staff recognized our outfit being quite formal and asked if it was a special day. Once they found out it was indeed a special day, they gave us a complimentary dessert with green tea, matcha cake and a pudding. The chef came to greet us and congratulated us in our special occasion. I would come back for the service and kindness they showed us. Parking is challenging in this area, but free after 8 pm and free on holidays and Sundays.

I enjoyed this ramen, and I'm kind of a ramen snob. The restaurant is cute and the service is good. I would rate them slightly above average.

I've only ever done takeout from them but I highly recommend their lunch deals. I've ordered their sushi and sashimi lunch twice now and I love it! Excellent variety at a great price too! It comes with 9 pieces of sashimi, 4 pieces of sushi (nigiri style) and a spicy tuna roll with a choice of soup or salad for only $20. They give very reasonably sized fish and the fish to rice ratio is good (better than buffets). I like the quality and variety of fish that has come in my lunch order and am a happy return customer.

This place was awesome!! After a long day of walking arounf the city and site seeing, we found ourselves at the Japanese spot. They were pretty busy when we arrived but was sat almost right away (didn't have to wait too long). The restaurant was nice and cozy and servers were very welcoming! They have great menu selections (they got something for everyone). We ordered some Bao Buns, gyozas and some nigiri to start. Bao buns were tasty and soft, gyozas were crispy and delicious!! Nigiris were fresh as well. Awesome selections of specialty fishes and Wagyu was also available!! We enjoyed everything!!

One of my favorite ramen spots in the dmv area but it isn't as good as ramen in California or Asia. Their ramen is definitely better than their sushi. The service here is a hit or miss depending on how busy they are. Overall ambiance is clean and regular sushi spot who sells ramen.

Toryumon has happy hour from 5-7 pm with deals on drinks, appetizers, and rolls. There were a ton of options to choose from. We ordered Japanese yuzu margaritas, which were delicious! We ordered a takoyaki appetizer, which was really good. We also ordered 3 specialty rolls, but I wasn't too impressed by them. We ended our meal with sake salmon sashimi, which wasn't on the happy hour menu but definitely the highlight of my experience here. I'd come back for sure since they have great happy hour options and skip the specialty rolls next time since they didn't stand out to me. I'd love to try their ramen!

We were there on a weekday evening and the weather was perfect. We sat outside. Our server had a big table next to us but we never felt neglected. He was hustling. All the food was fresh and I am putting this place in my rotation for sushi in NOVA. The buns were good food and I can't believe I forgot to take pictures of all the apps! Appetizers Takoyaki Bulgogi bun (my favorite!) Pork bun (good!) Main rolls: all amazing! Truffle tribecca, fantastic roll, dragon roll. Sashimi: all great! King salmon sashimi x2 (loved) Striped bass sashimi Octopus sashimi Tuna sashimi

Great happy hour. HH is 5-7pm, and the sushi itself is amazing. We got the truffle tribecca roll, rainbow roll, and the spicy tuna roll. All were amazing, but speciality rolls took the cake. The super beer size is a huge mug, likely 30oz. Service was quick and good, and they had nice outdoor seating which was great from an ambiance perspective.

Hard to find so many vegetarian options at an asian restaurant!! I didn't realize Toryumon is a chain but i've been to both the DC location and the Arlington location. The arlington location is conveniently near the metro and has a warm welcoming vibe inside. We got the vegetarian ramen and a few different vegetarian sushi rolls including avocado roll, vegetable roll, and sweet potato roll. My favorite was definitely the sweet potato roll. The price was on the cheaper side which I appreciated and service was relatively fast. I wasn't blown away by the ramen but the sushi rolls were good!
